BP Solar’s energy solutions are a great investment in forward-looking and environmentally responsible technology. We do not only provide just module warranties but also have warranties covering the performance of your plant helping you to improve project bankability.

We provide module warranties covering power output, materials and workmanship. Our warranties are bolstered by a rigorous quality control process that goes beyond international standards.

In 1998, we were the first major solar company to offer a 25-year warranty. In 2010 we did it again by introducing the idustries' first power output warranty for to a minimum of 93% for up to 12 years and a minimum of 85% after that, for up to 25 years.*

While it is common to guarantee material and workmanship of system’s components as a provider of a complete solar solution, we offer a best in class Performance Ratio Warranty included in our Operation and Maintenance service contracts.

BP Alternative Energy has begun the process of winding down its solar operations and will focus on wind, biofuels, and other alternative energy businesses that are material, scalable, and suited to BP's core capabilities. This website will remain active until March 31, 2012.
