Our unmatched product reliability rate allows us to offer a 25-year solar panel warranty. This warranty assures 85% of minimum warranted power output after 25 years of service, and 93% of the minimum warranted power output at 12 years*. In addition, a five-year limited warranty of materials and workmanship complements the package, providing peace of mind and great long-term performance.

BP Solar 25-year power output warranty
BP Solar has led the industry in highest lifetime value since 1998, when we were the first company to offer a 25-year power warranty.
Today, because of our commitment and technological innovation, BP Solar continues to lead the industry by being the first major company to have guaranteed a minimum power output of 93% for the first 12 years and 85% through 25 years for the majority of its crystalline photovoltaic solar panels. This equates to nearly 5% more guaranteed power output than the industry standard warranty.
This warranty took effect as of January 1, 2010, and is not retroactive to previously delivered products. Warranty is valid on BP Solar modules with the “25-12-5” warranty level, as indicated on the module label. BP Solar Certified Installer 10-year service warranty
Offered exclusively through BP Solar Certified Installers, this 10-year warranty offers a fixed, lump-sum payment to compensate the installer for costs associated with identifying and replacing BP Solar panels covered under the BP Solar 25-year power warranty. This service warranty is combined with an extended 10-year materials and workmanship warranty.To qualify for this warranty, the installer must be a BP Solar Certified Installer, and the installation must have been registered in the BP Solar Certified Installer portal.
Advanced Performance Ratio Warranty for large-scale projects
For large-scale projects developed by BP Solar, we help you to lower your financial costs through market-leading coverage against lack of availability of the system, panel degradation and losses.
This additional warranty is part of BP Solar’s comprehensive asset management solutions, which are offered to large commercial and utility customers. These tailored service packages may also include a performance-centered maintenance program, advanced remote monitoring and commercial management services.
